2022申請(qǐng)季來(lái)了！Common App美本最大網(wǎng)申系統(tǒng)開放！

2022申請(qǐng)季，他來(lái)了！
又到了8月1日，新一輪的Common App申請(qǐng)系統(tǒng)全面開放，意味著，2022er你們要數(shù)著DDL過(guò)日子了！
Common App是美國(guó)本科申請(qǐng)三大網(wǎng)申系統(tǒng)之一，也是目前美國(guó)大學(xué)申請(qǐng)使用人數(shù)最多的系統(tǒng)之一，每年超過(guò)100萬(wàn)學(xué)生通過(guò)該系統(tǒng)在線申請(qǐng)大學(xué)。
CA通用申請(qǐng)系統(tǒng)的最大特點(diǎn)是，申請(qǐng)人只需填寫一份申請(qǐng)表，包括標(biāo)化成績(jī)、文書、背景活動(dòng)以及推薦信等，就可以用它來(lái)申請(qǐng)多所大學(xué)，可以有效節(jié)省申請(qǐng)大學(xué)的時(shí)間。
為了擴(kuò)大訪問(wèn)范圍并促進(jìn)更公平、更具包容性的大學(xué)申請(qǐng)過(guò)程，CA新申請(qǐng)系統(tǒng)將包括 Common App 在去年宣布的五項(xiàng)重大變化，這些變化將于 8 月 1 日生效，包括：
1、刪除關(guān)于學(xué)校紀(jì)律的問(wèn)題；
2、刪除軍隊(duì)退伍的問(wèn)題；
3、對(duì)公民、家庭和地理問(wèn)題進(jìn)行修改；
4、對(duì)性別問(wèn)題進(jìn)行修改；
5、刪除宗教偏好的問(wèn)題。
此前，Common App官方宣布2021-2022申請(qǐng)季部分板塊會(huì)做出調(diào)整。比如：
其他6道題目沒(méi)有變化，并且“額外信息”部分仍然保留COVID-19的備選問(wèn)題“分享疫情對(duì)你個(gè)人和學(xué)術(shù)的影響”。
① Some students have a background, identity, interest, or talent that is so meaningful they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story.
②The lessons we take from obstacles we encounter can be fundamental to later success. Recount a time when you faced a challenge, setback, or failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?
③ Reflect on a time when you questioned or challenged a belief or idea. What prompted your thinking? What was the outcome?
⑤ Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others.
⑥ Describe a topic, idea, or concept you find so engaging that it makes you lose all track of time. Why does it captivate you? What or who do you turn to when you want to learn more?
⑦ Share an essay on any topic of your choice. It can be one you've already written, one that responds to a different prompt, or one of your own design.
比如：公民身份的選項(xiàng)中，“Other (non-US)” 替換成 International students 和 Undocumented/DACA students 兩個(gè)選項(xiàng)。
刪除父母和兄弟姐妹相關(guān)問(wèn)題，父母的職業(yè)、學(xué)歷、就業(yè)情況相關(guān)問(wèn)題設(shè)置為Optional。
另外，今年又有一大批學(xué)校加入Common App，其中包括大家熟悉的UIUC。今年3月份，伊利諾伊州宣布州內(nèi)12所公立大學(xué)都加入Common App網(wǎng)申系統(tǒng)。
